Northern Lights

Some people call them the Northern Lights and some call them by their scientific name, the Aurora Borealis. From late August to early May, visitors to Alaska are always hoping for a late night glimpse of this beautiful phenomena in the sky. Peak Lights season is in February and March, so braving the cold for the magic of the Aurora is no big deal for a lot of visitors.
