Southeast Alaska

Southeast Alaska is famous as a cruise destination, known as the Inside Passage of Alaska, and is actually home to thousands of Alaskans. Towns like Juneau, Sitka, Skagway and more are beautifully set at the edge of the continent with mountains and glaciers at their backdoor. The beautiful cultures of the Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian nations call these islands and passages home.

Here you’ll find things to do, where to stay, how to experience Alaska Native culture, and tips for navigating Southeast Alaska whether you’re visiting via cruise ship or you’re exploring on your own.
